GEN Z CAN'T SAY HELLO WHEN ANSWERING THE PHONE?
This is kind of funny.
On one hand, however, I think YouTube channels like this tend to take one headline or article written by some idiot and then report on things as if they are a bigger phenomena than they really are.
Take me for example. I own a website. I write articles. What's to stop me from writing an article based on an opinion I have about something I heard in passing. Then what's to stop someone else from reading that article, assuming its a worldwide phenomena, and creating a YouTube video about it?
Not much. Not very much at all is stopping us.
Does Gen Z answer the phone and just mouthbreath until the caller says something? Maybe they do, maybe they don't. I haven't really experienced it. I don't really make phone calls to people from Gen Z, and these days most businesses use AI to screen phonecalls. Maybe this YouTube channel just read an article and decided they needed content, and now here we are.
One thing is true, however, Gen Z can be quite socially awkward. Is this yet another example of Millenials/Gen Z trying thinking they can "re-invent" something that has already been developed thorugh hundreds of years of evolution or societal advancement? "Look at that wheel, why is it a circle? Circles are racist! hurdurrrr, let's try a triangle! Reeeeehhheeer!"
or maybe this is the result of parents how hand their kids tablets to keep them occupied, ratehr than teaching their kids how to interact properly. Perhaps their parents don't even know how to interact properly.
I have for sure experienced customer service that was awkward af and felt like I had to hold the CSR's hand through the process while basically doing their job for them.
I also think its important to note the geographical location of the Gen Z person or people described in this article. I can totally see the child of a Bay Area, California liberal tech geek lacking such social skills. Because I experienced it first hand when I lived in the area. Those people are absolutely clueless with how socially stunted most of them are.
I've experienced similair situations when I lived in Los Angeles county. The healthcare services I received from Kaiser offices in Los Angeles County were so incredibly unprofessional. It wasn't just one office. IT wasn't just one visit. It was all of them. I had a shoulder injury one time and my doctor was a faggot who wanted to spend more time telling me to stand shirtless against the wall and stretch so he would gawk at me. he took note of the book I brought to read in the waiting room and tried to strike up conversation about it. He asked me if I had someone who could help me out by massaging my shoulder, and asked again when I said "Yeah, I do." I said "Yeah, I do" a little bit louder.
I also had a doctor who gave me anti-biotics for something that was a physical ailment requiring surgery. There was nothing bacterial about my ailment at all. The doctor just didn't want to do their job and examine me. When I end up going to my usual medical office in Orange County, my doctor was LIVID! She said "Oh no! That doesn't fly out here." A month or so later, I got a notice in the mail stating that doctor was no longer working with Kaiser. I probably should have sued.
Granted, my experiences are limited to just three counties in one state. But its enough to tell me that far left counties don't know what the fuck they are doing. And anyone and everyone who works in those counties are fraudsters.
In terms of the Bay Area (San Jose-ish), those people were just socially stunted and politcally retarded. But typically meant well.
Los Angeles, however, those people can all be deported. Every. Single. One of them. Nothing but criminal negligence and faggotry.
If you work in Los Angeles County, you should be under investigation. If you've only worked in LA County, you have no fucking clue about anything, whatsoever. ZERO. Full-retard. Just like Robert Downey Jr's character warned about in Tropic Thunder.
And chances are you are too knee-deep in it to realize the mess you're in.
