Some women were sexually assaulted, and its a good thing that those women were empowered to speak up. But there have also been a lot of women who made up stories or exagerated stories while demonizing a man in order to destroy him for her own personal gain, not always about sexual misconduct either.

Virtue signaling, ie: the act of saying things to make yourself sound liek a virtous person, is immature, short-sighted, and society has learned from the experience. Just because something sounds good to say doesn't mean the issue isn't more complicated than you believe it to be. Nor does it mean that others need to change their behavior juist because of your own personal feelings.
