#MeToo served a purpose and helped expose creepy fucks like Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein. But it also empowered a lot of shitty women to destroy the lives of men who didn't deserve it. Some women were sexually assaulted, and its a good thing that those women were empowered to speak up. But there have also been a lot of women who made up stories or exagerated stories while demonizing a man in order to destroy him for her own personal gain, not always about sexual misconduct either.
I'm probably starting to stray away from the point of the video but the thing I'm getting at is this...
Virtue signaling, ie: the act of saying things to make yourself sound liek a virtous person, is immature, short-sighted, and society has learned from the experience. Just because something sounds good to say doesn't mean the issue isn't more complicated than you believe it to be. Nor does it mean that others need to change their behavior juist because of your own personal feelings.
Maybe you just need to grow up, shut up, and focus on building something productive, rather than shitting on everyone else in some asinine attempt to make yourself look like you never take shits. We can all smell you coming from a mile away these days.
